Why you can never write off the Welsh ..

We enter the third round of the Six Nations this weekend and there’s some massive games including the famous Calcutta Cup between England and Scotland, one of the oldest rivalries in the sport of Rugby Union.

The French will travel to the Stadio Olympico to take on the Italians in Rome, while the Welsh will welcome the Irish to the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

This will the first game for the Welsh in Cardiff this year and if there’s one thing that you can say for definite about the Welsh people, is that they are a very proud nation.

Welsh Rugby hasn’t been in such a low place ever in its history and this Saturday is a time where they need their supporters to get behind their team and show them that they will support them no matter what.

Their legendary coach Warren Gatland has departed the scene and I just hope that the Welsh will remember the good times the Kiwi brought to Welsh rugby and not the past two season.

Welsh rugby is going to have to go thorough some painful years in their rebuilding of the game, the WRU has been run into the ground over the past few years and the region structure clearly hasn’t worked with serious questions that have to be asked and answered.

This Saturday come 2:15pm at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff you can expect the roof to be lifting off the stadium with the Welsh to be known for their signing.

Wales will be lead by their young and brave Skipper Jac Morgan, the one bright light in that Welsh team and one that a lot of people think he might just make the Lions squad for Down Under this summer.

The odds are seriously stacked against the Welsh this weekend, but you can never write off Wales at home and be ware of a wounded animal. Casino online games in UK will have all the best offers for bumper weekend of sport.

If Wales could turn Ireland over this weekend, it would blow the Championship wide open and do so much for Welsh rugby. Never has Welsh rugby been in such a bad state, a win would be huge, not just for the Welsh but for the game of Rugby Union.

World Rugby needs a strong Welsh team, there’s so few teams in the World and the Welsh are a team with a rich tradition and after all it is their national sport. The people of Wales pride themselves in two things, their language and the game of Rugby Union.

Rugby is part of their very make up and it’s what unites the city of Cardiff and indeed the country. Can Wales pull of a miracle come 2:15pm on Saturday. You just never know, one thing is for sure, they will give it every last bit, and their fans will drive it on as much as they possibly can.

The Welsh are hurting big time and now is the time their players and indeed their supporters have to step up.
