Real Madrid winger Cristiano Ronaldo could be facing a possible lengthy ban after appearing to kick out at a Sporting Gijon player during Real’s 5-1 win on Sunday.
In the video Ronaldo can be seen lashing out at Sporting Gijon’s Nacho Cases after he blocked the Portuguese forward.
The referee actually gave the foul Madrid’s way awarding a foul instead for obstruction, but it is because of this that a disciplinary panel may choose to revisit the footage and award the Portugal international with a ban.
