A Wichita Centre Half Has Scored An Absolute Cracker From Inside His Own Half

Wichita center-back, Kevin Ten Eyck, scored an absolute cracker of a goal last night in the NPSL South Central Conference.

Wichita needed 1 point in the final game of the season, in their inaugural year, to win the league and it was their centre-back who stepped up in the 41st minute.

Eyck spotted the Vaqueros keeper off his line and hammered a free-kick from his own half straight into the back of the net for Wichita’s second goal of the game.

Wichita went on the win the game 4-0 and clinched the Conference Championship in front of a sold-out home crowd in the organization’s first year.
