Big Sam and West Brom have had one of the worst starts imaginable against Bielsa’s Leeds side. Romaine Sawyers has just shot the ball into the back of his own net by accident.
Bielsa’s side were pressing heavy on the West Brom defence and Romaine tried to pass the ball back to his keeper between the sticks to relieve some pressure, the only problem was that West Brom’s goalkeeper Sam Johnstone was nowhere near his own goal. Sam had moved to the left hand side of the box to be an easier passing option from the defence but they had no heard his calls, leading for the shot into the back of their own net.
Who do you think is in the wrong here, is it Romain Sawyers for putting so much power on the ball back towards the net or is it Johnstone’s for not being in the centre of the goal?
Either way, Big Sam will be having words with them both at half time.
