An incident in the Premier League this evening has proven just how good VAR can be in undoing referee injustices. Ex-Liverpool man Conor Coady went down in the Liverpool box after an attempted acrobatic clearance from Liverpool forward Sadio Mane.
Coady who was at fault for the first goal seemed to have slightly redeemed himself until VAR took a look and saw that Mane had completely pulled out of the clearance and Coady had dived.
The commentators and fans were furious with the ref and ex-player Coady but VAR did the right thing and got the right result.
