Olympic legend Usain Bolt has thrown his support behind the three England stars who were subjected to racial abuse in wake of the Euro 2020 final.
Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Bukayo Saka all had the cojones to step up to the mark and take a penalty for their country in their first major tournament final since 1966.
All three players were unable to find the back of the net, with Rashford striking the post and Gianluigi Donnarumma denying the other two Three Lions youngsters.
While the execution of the spot kick obviously holds significance, penalties are a lottery, especially when its young players put under immense pressure as they were.
Still, as has been reported by the BBC, some have seen fit to send racial abuse to the trio in wake of the penalty misses.

The actions of the minority who have done so are utterly contemptible and have no place in our game or society as a whole.
That thought is echoed by a man who people ought to listen to, arguably the greatest sportsman in history, Usain Bolt.
Bolt has addressed the matter and sent a message of support to the England stars.
