Semelsberger, who was taking on fellow contender Jason Witt, came into the event’s opening bout as the slight betting favourite.

Despite the odds being in his favour – No one would have been able to predict just how quickly the American would get the job done.

After just 16 seconds of the very first round, Semelsberger landed a pin-point right jab which sent Witt crashing to the canvas.

Semelsberger’s rapid knockout sees him become the owner of the seventh-fastest knockout in welterweight history.

Good night and God bless.
