The English full-back saved his side’s blushes against Fulham with an 88th-minute strike to finish off Liverpool’s incredible comeback.

It looked like Marco Silva’s men were about to pull off a historic win at Anfield as they led 3-2 heading into the final ten minutes of the game.

But substitute Wataru Endo levelled things up with a sensational strike in the 87th minute.

Then just one minute later, Alexander-Arnold rifled the ball past Bernd Leno and into the back of the net to secure a 4-3 win.
