Chelsea drew their early kick off game with Southampton in the Premier League today but the game had many talking points in an affair that only had two goals.
Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi came on as a substitute at half time for striker Tammy Abraham but the 20 year only managed to stay on the pitch for 30 minutes as manager Thomas Tuchel subbed him off in the 76th minute.
Tuchel felt it would be better for summer signing Hakim Ziyech to finish the game for Chelsea and frustrated Hudson-Odoi even kicked something as he was taken off the pitch.
Speaking after the game, the new Chelsea boss explained his reasoning for subbing off the half time substitute stating it wasn’t an injury reason and he was ‘unhappy’ with Callum’s ‘body language’ and ‘attitude’.
"I was not happy with his body launguage and counter pressing."

Will Hudson-Odoi be able to prove himself to a manager that isn’t taking any prisoners, Tuchel has now laid down a marker, if you are not playing to hiss liking, you will be subbed off.
