Thomas Tuchel is officially the new Chelsea manager after the 47-year-old was appointed following the departure of club legend Frank Lampard.
The German was confirmed on Tuesday as Frank Lampardโs successor after the club legend was sacked on Monday following an 18-month stint in charge.
Chelsea confirmed that Tuchel would take charge of his first training session on Tuesday evening after he was cleared to enter the country after registering a negative Covid-19 test result.

The new boss will also be in the Stamford Bridge dugout for Wednesdayโs Premier League clash with Wolves.
Tuchel became available to other clubs after his departure from Paris Saint-Germain, where he won back-to-back Ligue 1 titles and reached last seasonโs Champions League final.
Chelseaโs new boss is expected to put the club back on track after Lampard spent more than ยฃ200m on an array of brilliant players but was unable to steer the club into the Champions League spots.
