It is 14 years to the day since Didier Drogba exploded to the cameras after Chelsea’s Champions League semi-final loss to Barcelona.
In probably one of the most controversial ties in the competition’s history, Blues fans will still tell you that they are angry over Tom Henning Ovrebo’s refereeing performance in the second leg of the semi-final, where Drogba and the team believed that several decisions went against them.

The match ended in the worst possible way for Chelsea, as Andres Iniesta bagged a late winner from distance to send the Catalans through, before they went on to beat Manchester United in the final.
Drogba went on a mad rant to the cameras at the full-time whistle, with his “It’s a fu***ng disgrace!” phrase known by fans across the globe to this day.
