It has been a very tough six days on and off the pitch for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp with the German manager unable to attend his own mother’s funeral due to COVID restrictions in Germany.
A 4-1 loss to Manchester on Sunday and now a 3-1 loss to Leicester today, Jurgen is clearly on edge and it showed in his post match interview today as he stated Liverpool were clearly ‘the dominant side’ in today’s game.
He blamed VAR making a wrong call for Liverpool losing the game as it turned the momentum and then the players were thrown out of rhythm.
He then said that lack of experience together is why Alisson’s blunder happened for the second goal with the Brazilian keeper clearly at fault.
Then his final comment when leaving the interview was a bold statement as he said Brendan Rodger’s men were ‘lucky to win’. Despite losing by a two goal margin.
"We were the clear dominant side, we played good football."
"You saw that we tried everything, it's not that we didn't try."

We really feel for Klopp in this tough time but that comment seems unfair on the Leicester players who worked so hard for those three points. What do you think?
