A video of John Stones and Ruben Dias’ highlights against Manchester United in the Carabao Cup semi-final has emerged on Twitter and its got people saying they may be the best centre-back partnership in Europe.

“All I see is Maldini and Nesta,” one football fan replied to the video with another adding: “If I was a rival fan, I would be scared. They look unbeatable.”
The video came after Manchester City’s victory over their city rivals in the Carabao Cup semi-final at Old Trafford on Wednesday where City ran out 2-0 winners.

John Stones and Fernandinho were on target for the visitors as Olé Gunnar Solskjaer’s men failed to advance past a semi-final at their fourth time of asking since the Norwegian took over.
According to BBC football reporter Simon Stone Solskjaer has now lost as many domestic semi-finals in the last 12 months as Sir Alex Ferguson did in his 26 years in charge at Old Trafford.
City will meet José Mourinho’s Tottenham Hotspur in the final which is scheduled for Sunday April 25th at Wembley stadium.
