Ronaldinho, Francesco Totti and Diego Maradona were among some of the star names to participate in a charity match in Rome on Wednesday evening.

The ‘United for Peace’ game, organised by Pope Francis, took place at the Stadio Olimpico, its importance underlined by the huge number of former players who made the effort to attend the match.

Check out the fan footage below of Ronaldinho, Totti and Maradona playing a bit of keepy uppy before the game.

As always Ronaldinho was on hand to showcase a few skills:

The event was tainted a bit though when Diego Maradona clashed with fellow Argentine Juan Sebastian Veron.

The Argentina legend had to be restrained by security staff after he clashed with Veron and had to be held back by staff as the players headed towards the tunnel.

Only Maradona could start a fight at a peace game.
