Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Joe Hart has had to issue fans with a public apology following a recent error made on his social media account.

Although Hart was not named in Jose Mourinho’s starting line-up for Spurs’ Europa League tie against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday night, the English keeper was among the benched substitutes.

In what turned out to be a truly disastrous evening following Zagreb’s brilliant 3-0 win, which in turn sent the Londoners crashing out of the competition, Hart’s social media popped up with a message saying “Job done!”

Obviously enraged, fans were quick to slam to the shot-stopper following what looked like a poorly timed joke.

However, in a recent video, Hart has addressed fans and revealed that his social media team were responsible for the error after an employee thought Mourinho’s men had won 3-0… Not lost 3-0.

P45, anyone?
