Southampton youngster Alexandre Jankewitz has had a horrendous start to life in the Premier League. The central midfielder came from Switzerland and has been with Southampton since 2018 and is currently 19 according to Transfermarkt.
He has made 10 appearances in the Premier League 2 this season and Hassenhuttl trusted him today in a huge match against Manchester United but it seems Jankewitz bit off more than he can chew with the 19 year old earning himself a red card in under 2 minutes.
Thankfully McTominay seems to be ok but a reckless high stud challenge that could’ve lead to a serious injury has earned Alexandre his marching orders.

The referee had no choice after seeing the challenge but to send off the youngster and now Southampton are down to 10 men for the majority of the 90 minutes.
