The Lions beat the Sharks 43 points to 40 in the Franchise Cup but the main talking point of the game was the speed from the Sharks prop Ntuthuko Mchunu he ran 52 meters and what a run, see it below:

What is happening to these props, that is pure class. Props shouldn’t be allowed to do this they’re suppose to scrummage and hold up the scrum. Not Ntuthuko Mchunu what a break and some pace to back it up. The Sharks are currently top of conference B despite losing to the Lions away at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.
If the club sides are looking this good, we can’t wait for the Lions tour to South Africa this summer provided it goes ahead of course. With players like this and the strength of South African rugby never being so strong, roll on the summer.
