The winners of this will play the winners of the other semi-final between the two Manchester clubs, Manchester City vs Manchester United. This competition is really a good chance for Spurs to win a bit of silverware which the club have managed for a long time now. Surely this is what Jose Mourinho was Brought in for.
‘The Special One’ as he calls himself has picked up silverware everywhere he’s went in his managerial career and what an achevivement it would be if he could do it Tottenham.
Spurs currently lie 4th in the Premier League table with a game in hand, but are very much up against it in the league. The last time they lifted the league cup was in 2008 can they go on and do it again?
