Sergio Garcia beat Lee Westwood to reach the last 16 of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play – and how.
Garcia and Westwood were neck and neck in their respective bids to reach the last 16 of the competition, with Garcia producing something quite remarkable to ensure that it will be him continuing to compete in the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas.
It’s one of those were you just need to sit back, relax and dream of pulling off a shot of this calibre yourself. A truly, truly special hole-in-one from Garcia, one of the best shots he will ever hit in his career.

Of course, being eliminated from the competition will be of huge frustration to Lee Westwood, especially in this manner, with Garcia pulling off this shot with an equal amount of luck than judgement.
However, Westwood was clearly able to see the funny side of it, or at least so this tweet suggests. Fair play, Lee.
Well , 28 years on tour and I thought I’d seen everything. I hadn’t! 🤣🤣🤣
