Video: Sébastien Chabal singing ‘500 Miles’ is the best thing you’ll see today

How am I only seeing this now, remember the big French second row/back-row Sébastien Chabal? The man was as tough as a nut playing for the French team and his club Sale Sharks in Manchester. Here he is singing ‘500 miles’ it was a promo for the Hong Kong Sevens one year. Quality;

Chabal played professionally rugby for 16 years and won the English Premiership with Sale Sharks, and the 2007 Six Nations Championship with France. He also finished in fourth place at the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

He was known for his full beard, long hair and ferocious tackling, leading the French rugby fans to nickname him l’Homme des Cavernes (Caveman). With this look, he had a number of lucrative commercial contracts. He was one of the most popular sportsmen in France, so much that local journalists wrote about Chabalmania.

The man is clearly a good character and quite obviously a proud Frenchman, love this;
