Former Manchester United captain and Sky TV pundit Roy Keane has shot sown any comparisons made by Paul Ince between current United star Bruno Fernandes and club legend Eric Cantona
Cantona was known for his presence and aura that made the players around him play that little bit better and that is exactly what Bruno Fernandes has done since his arrival at Old Trafford in January 2020.
During his post match analysis with former Manchester City full-back Micah Richards, Keane said “Fernandes did not do much tonight, the top players turn up in the big occasions and that is what Cantona used to do and get trophies that is where this team is short”

Fernandes has so far managed to score 10 goals and provide six assists this season adding to his previous eight goals and seven assists from the second half of the 2019/20 season.
Fernandes has been directly involved in just over half (31) of Manchester United’s 60 Premier League goals in 2020 setting a new record for most goal involvements since Frank Lampard’s previous record of having 29 goal involvements in a calendar year back in 2009.
