Cristiano Ronaldo was left furious in the first-half of Hungary vs Portugal, with Liverpool star Diogo Jota having failed to pick him out after finding space in the box.
Ronaldo is only able to operate at the very top of the game at his age as a result of his incomparably strong mentality.
The Juventus forward has an obsession with scoring goals, which has seen him break record after record, establishing himself as one of the all-time greats of the game.
While that has been very much to his own benefit, as well as the benefit of every team he’s played for, you imagine there’s a degree of difficulty playing on the same side as him.

Jota had one thing in his mind – to strike at goal. If the Liverpool star had got his head up, he’d have seen Ronaldo in acres of space inside the penalty area.
