Liverpool star Andy Robertson was ready to go to-to-toe with Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro after James Milner was on the receiving end of a hefty challenge.
Emotions were running high out on the Anfield turf, with both sides looking to secure their progression into the last four of the Champions League, where they will meet Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea.

James Milner, in the Liverpool side tonight to provide priceless experience and leadership qualities in the absence of Jordan Henderson, would have been hoping to lead the Reds to another famous Anfield comeback.
However, his night was almost ended by an awful challenge from Real Madrid’s Casemiro, which happened right under Jurgen Klopp’s nose, and almost led to the Brazilian midfielder having a tussle with Andy Robertson.
Casemiro flew in recklessly, taking Milner to the floor, with Robertson being able to be seen charging towards the scene, ready to defend his captain with his life. Liverpool fans will absolutely LOVE to see this.
