Johnny Sexton was captain of Ireland this year and led Ireland to finish third in the table and a massive win against England in their final game. Leinster also had a massive win against their old rivals Munster at the weekend at the RDS Arena in the Pro 14 final. That’s six wins in a row for the blue side of Ireland and a very disappointing result if your a Munster Rugby fan.

The Lions squad will be selected in the coming weeks and one wonders will Sexton make the plane? Surely after the Six Nations the Dubliner had this year.
