Video: Rare footage of World Darts Champion ‘Gerwyn Price’ scoring try at Millennium Stadium

Check out this remarkable footage of World Darts champion Gerwyn Price scoring a try at The Millennium stadium during his professional rugby career with Welsh side Cross Keys.

The world number one was making history back in 2012 when little Welsh village club Cross Keys reached the British and Irish Cup final in 2012 and one month later defeated Pontypridd 32-19 at the Millennium Stadium to win the Swalec Cup.

Since then the 35-year-old has gone on to become a professional darts player after wining a tour card at Q-School and since turning professional Price has rocketed through the ranks to claim the number one spot after defeating Gary Anderson in the 2021 World Darts Championship final.

The Iceman also had a brief spell with Glasgow Warriors as cover for current Scotland hooker Fraser Brown but he decided to hang up his boots and focus on darts instead.

It’s fair to say it wasn’t a bad career change for the new world ranked No.1.
