Watch Nemanja Matic’s piledriver against Tottenham in the FA Cup semi-final in Chelsea’s 4-2 win over their rivals.
The goal from Matic celebrates its 6th birthday today, as the Blues romped home to book their place in the 2017 final.
Chelsea took the lead through a Willian penalty before Harry Kane equalised midway through the first half. Willian restored Chelsea’s advantage just before the break, before Dele Alli levelled again on 52 minutes.
A 75th-minute Eden Hazard strike put the Blues 3-2 up and five minutes later came Matic’s goal.
It was set up by Hazard, who jinked his way past a couple of challenges on the edge of the box before laying the ball off to the Serbian, who sent a rasping effort into the top right corner, the shot clipping the crossbar on its way in.
