West Ham striker Michail Antonio celebrated becoming the club’s all-time top Premier League scorer by holding aloft a cardboard cutout of himself.
Antonio began his career as a right-back, before progressing to right-wing at Nottingham Forest and eventually earning himself a move to West Ham.
Having shown his eye for goal while playing out-wide for the Hammers, Antonio was converted to a striker, in no small part due to the shortfalls of Sebastien Haller.
Fast forward to the present day and Antonio is waking up having become West Ham’s all-time top Premier League scorer, surpassing Paolo Di Canio.
He celebrated the feat in quite extraordinary fashion, too, having done so with a pre-prepared cardboard cutout of himself.
Nobody puts Michail in the corner! 🕺

BenchWarmers’ view
The 31-year-old has perhaps not got the credit that he deserved in recent seasons, but he’s the flavour of the month right now.
Antonio switched to the no. 9 shirt over the summer to reaffirm his position as West Ham’s main goal-scoring outlet – and he appears intent on delivering on that promise.
The Hammers forward also does it all with a smile on his face, which makes him all the more likeable from a neutral’s standpoint.
The Premier League needs more personalities like Antonio to help bridge the gap between the fans and the players – he really does seem like one of us.
