Conor McGregor has come a long way since 2013 and he showed in the press conference that the journey has meant so much to him.
During his UFC 257 press conference yesterday a reporter quoted a famous McGregor quote back to him and the Irishman is heard choking up and trying to hold the tears back.
He dreamed of buying his mother a ‘mansion’ and setting his family is up for life.
After taking the fighting world by storm since his UFC debut and has taken his skills to the boxing world as well with his bout against Floyd Mayweather breaking so many records.

This quote seemed to really hit Conor and he responded with how his career has been a kind of rollercoaster.
“It’s been some ride”
It really has been but he will be hoping the ride isn’t over as he wants a title shot against Khabib Nurmagomedov which he will not get unless he seriously impresses against Dustin tonight.
