In an interview with Sky Sports today Marcus Rashford answered a question about the terrible growth in online racist abuse and how to tackle it.
He believes that social media companies have the power to stop this trend and tackle the issue head on. All they need to do is take a no tolerance stance where they ban and ‘deactivate’ accounts.

He believes that when Social Media companies do delete the abusive accounts then that should get rid of most if not all of the racist abuse.
