After Erik ten Hag and Hakim Ziyech greeted each other during Manchester United’s meeting with Chelsea, fans think a reunion could happen.
ten Hag and Ziyech greeted each other twice during Thursday’s meeting between the pair, which United ended up winning 4-1 as their fans began to wonder if their Dutch manager has a plan to bring the winger to Old Trafford.
The fact that Ziyech is still at Chelsea right now is a mystery in itself, with his expected transfer to PSG on January’s deadline day falling through at the last minute due to a paperwork error.
Ziyech has zero goals and three assists to his name this season and will be longing for a similar season to his 2018/19 one he had at Ajax under ten Hag, where he scored 21 goals and notched up 24 assists in all competitions.
Football fans are a fickle bunch and their latest theory is that ten Hag will try and get Ziyech to Old Trafford this summer after this video was posted on Twitter.
