Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira produced a moment of magic during the Red Devils’ 2-2 draw with Brentford on Wednesday night.
Man United’s pre-season campaign is well underway, if without the majority of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s usual starting XI, most of whom competed in Euro 2020 over the summer.
In their absence, Solskjaer has been given the opportunity to have a closer look at some of his fringe players, notably those who spent last season out on loan.
One of those is Andreas Pereira, who was previously one of Man United’s biggest hopes, but his development has stunted.

Pereira spent last season with Serie A outfit Lazio, making 33 appearances in total and scoring just the one goal.
While he’s not renown for his ability to find the back of the net, he clearly has a worldie in his locker, as he proved against Premier League new-boys Brentford last night.
The ball fell to Pereira on the volley, about 25 yards from goal, with the Brazilian taking it on first time – and producing something TRULY special.
