The Anfield linesman appears to elbow Andy Robertson at half-time in extraordinary footage.
Arsenal is currently leading Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield after the first 45 minutes which Mikel Arteta’s side dominated.
But there was huge controversy after the referee blew for the break as the Liverpool players could be seen crowding around the referee and intently complaining about an off-the-ball incident.
