Lee Mason has just produced an absolute howler of an overall decision in the Brighton and West Brom game after a comedy of errors from the referee.
Brighton took a quick free-kick after Lee Mason blew his whistle and with the ball on itsβ way goal bound, he blew the whistle again, an unwritten rule in football which he has crossed to blow the whistle while a shot is on its way over the line.
It then went to VAR with fans absolutely flabbergasted by the whole situation. Jeff Stelling labelled the decision βItβs a total, utter, shameful, disgraceful piece of NONSENSE!β
