Watch Kylian Mbappe score his first goals as France’s new captain as Les Blues beat the Netherlands 4-0 in Euro qualifying.
Mbappe was named as France’s new captain on Tuesday following Hugo Lloris’ retirement from international duty after the World Cup and the 24-year old marked his captaincy debut with a brace against the Netherlands.
The forward made it 3-0 to France after just 20 minutes when he latched on to an Aurelien Tchouameni through ball and slotted home past Jasper Cillessen, and he rounded off his performance with a second goal two minutes before the end of the match, when he drove at the Dutch defence and feigned to shoot twice – sending a couple of defenders to the shops in the process – before firing low into the far corner.
