Jose has been speaking about Gareth Bale and his upcoming FA Cup fixture against non-league side Marine in a press conference today. Spurs face off against Marine on Sunday in the 5pm kick off and Jose spoke about giving the non-league side ‘respect’ and what better way to respect the side than to play a world class player like Gareth Bale.
Bale has not been as much of a key to Tottenham’s success as he would have expected with the Welshman only featuring 11 times in all competitions and 4 of those coming in the Premier League according to Transfermarkt. The Champions League winner has managed to find the back of the net 3 times in those 11 appearances and maybe he sees this away trip as a chance to pad his stats.
