Gareth’s time in London was not the amazing return he expected or wanted as he has arrived injured and also picked up an injury under Jose, proving that he can’t be relied upon when needed.

Bale was well known in Madrid for taking it easy in training as he was pictured many times practicing his golf swing on the Madrid training pitches, old habits must die hard for the Welshman.
