There was some speculation, be it small going around that Ozil might join North London rivals Tottenham Hotspurs. The player himself Ozil was quick to extinguish that by saying “He’d rather retire than join Tottenham. When this statement was brought up today with the Spurs manager Jose Mourinho he was quick to respond with a witty comeback as always, see here;

Tottenham play Fulham tomorrow night in a match that was remixed having been called off over ten days ago. They were due to play Aston Villa but that has been replace with the Fulham match due to a Covid outbreak in the Birmingham club.
Tottenham have qualified for the league cup final and are through to the next round of the FA Cup with a solid win against 8th tier side Marine AFC. The Portuguese manager will be hoping to make up some silverware this season as the London club compete on all front.
