Conor McGregor’s future in the world of fighting has been spinning out of control after his second round defeat to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
Joe Rogan was speaking on his podcast with Brendan Schaub about all of the possibilities in front of Conor McGregor and whether he should stick to boxing or UFC.
First he spoke about Dustin’s options and how ‘purist’ MMA fans want to see Dustin Poirier to face Charles Oliveira after his win against McGregor but he believes the most money is to be made from a Dustin and Conor rematch immediately.
Joe is calling for the Oliveira fight while I think we all know what Dana would prefer if he had to choose between pure fighting or money.
Joe also thinks the sensible option is for McGregor to face Chandler next but Conor would be a heavy underdog going into that fight and he he loses that bout it probably be the end of McGregor’s era and the end of his time in the octagon which would be very bad for the UFC.
