The RTE sound department had a nightmare on Saturday afternoon and Jerry Flannery paid for it.
Ireland played and won against France at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday, firmly planting themselves at the summit of the Six Nations standings.
The game was an incredible spectacle with both sides refusing to back down but Andy Farrell’s men were too good and walked away 32-19 winners.

Prior to the game kicking off, Jamie Heaslip, Jerry Flannery and Stephen Ferris were all pitch side given their analysis in the build-up. Unfortunately for Flannery just when he was speaking the sound cut out for a few seconds but when it returned it was sped up, making his voice sound, interesting.

Ireland will play Italy at the end of the month before locking horns with Scotland.
