Israel Adesanya took revenge on the son of Alex Pereira by falling to the canvas and playing dead after the knockout victory.
The middleweight reclaimed his championship belt after knocking Pereira out in the second round of their Miami fight in the early hours of Sunday morning.
After the victory, Adesanya ran straight over to the side of the cage, pointed at his fallen opponent’s son and proceeded to drop to the canvas.

This was in retaliation after Pereira’s son mocked him after he lost during his kickboxing days in the Glory of Heroes 7 in Sao Paulo.

‘I’m petty bro.’ Adesanya said after the fight.
‘I remember the first time [Pereira] knocked me out in Brazil, and his son came into the ring and then started to lie dead next to me, and I’m like, ‘you f*****g little a****le. I’ll whoop your ass if your dad don’t do it for you.’
