Roy Keane had the ITV panel in bits after a quick one-liner about Pep Guardiola’s demeanour.
Arsenal faces Manchester City in the FA Cup as Mikel Arteta comes up against his old boss, Pep Guardiola. This is the first time the two teams will meet this season and it’s considered a good practice run for their upcoming Premier League encounter.
Speaking to the media before the game, Guardiola was asked about Gunner’s team selection and had a stern response.
“I don’t know, [it’s] a strong team. Arsenal. To beat Arsenal you have to have quality and just take a look at what you have to do.” he said.
“It’s a decision for Mikel so what can I say? It’s Arsenal and I take it seriously.”
After the interview ended, the camera panned back to the studio where Keane was ready with a classic one-liner that floored the panel.
🗣 “I think Pep should smile a bit more – and that’s coming from me!”
