When disaster strikes Ireland lost to a side ranked 98th in the world in Luxembourg. It’s just the 20th competitive win in their history, ’embarrassing’ being the word Seamus Coleman the Irish captain use on that result tonight. That is effectively Ireland out of the qualifying when it comes to being in the mix for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022, very disappointing result for that Irish team and the Irish public tonight.
