Frank Lampard was under fire recently after a string poor results since mid December. Chelsea have lost to the likes of Everton, Wolves and Arsenal with draws against Aston Villa and Krasnodar. Fans were furious with the club legend as he has spent over 200 million pounds on his squad but can’t seem to defeat teams in the lower half of the table.
Now when asked about a possible transfer in January he has not ruled anything out and even on the contrary has fueled rumours that the club will go out and spend more money with Roman Abramovich clearly backing Lamps. The London club now sit in 6th place in the League, 7 points behind leaders Liverpool and Frank is desperate to close the gap and clearly feels that spending money on new players will help that
