Watch Fiorentina full back Cristiano Biraghi score a superb goal from the halfway line that took everyone by surprise.
The freekick which he scored came about rather innocuously when the number 38s from Fiorentina and Verona came together as Adolfo Gaich of Verona went through the back of Fiorentina’s Rolando Mandragora, prompting protests from the Verona players who surrounded the referee.
As the protests continued, the TV replays showed an earlier chance from the game before they cut to the Fiorentina players celebrating.
The commentators were silent for a moment, before realising that Biraghi had caught the keeper off his line from the freekick.
Verona stunned! 😳
