Derrick Lewis secured a staggering second round knock out victory over the number two heavyweight Curtis Blaydes last night with a single uppercut putting the fighter to sleep instantly, it was the follow up shots that had fans extremely shocked and worried for Blaydes’ health.
Derrick’s punch seemed strong enough to knock a horse out but he put all his power and weight behind some follow up blows on his downed opponent as veteran referee Herb Dean dived in to protect the fighter and fans were not impressed.

Fighters are always thought to keep going until the referee stops it but fans think it was a show of ‘bad sportsmanship’ to continue in the manner he did on Lewis. What do you think?
The one thing I despise about ufc. Someone is going to die with those full force follow ups on an already knocked out opponent.

One of the scariest KO’s in a long time, the noises Blaydes was making whilst unconscious were frightening
