ESPN FC Radio Colombia host Carlos Orduz somehow walked away without any serious injuries – just bruising and bleeding – after the freak accident. It’s good to hear that Orduz wasn’t seriously hurt here. This is certainly an unfortunate thing to have happen on a broadcast, and it could have ended badly. Thank goodness it didn’t in this case.
The camera, which had a wide-angle view, quickly cut away from the shot, and the host, who was visibly shocked, called for a commercial. It’s not often that a sports commenter or pundit would get injured in the line of duty. If they do get injured, it’s more mental than physical on this occasion, thankful Carlos Orduz is OK.
