A fan zone venue in Newcastle had a nightmare last night when they couldn’t find the right channel for the England vs USA game.
Fans were left furious when they were unable to watch the start of the second half due to ‘technical issues.’ This ultimately led to a bad reaction from the supporters.
A fan recording the event could be heard shouting “it’s Channel 3, you thick sh*te”.

This is a nightmare scenario if you’re at home on your own but with a crowd of drunken supporters who paid to get in, it almost turned into a riot.
The fans began to chant “we want our money back” followed by a loud chorus of boos.
This has brought back memories of ITV’s horror show in 2010, when 1.5 million viewers missed Gerrard’s opening goal for England because of an ad break.
