Emiliano Martinez carried his fury into a post-match interview after Argentina’s dramatic win against the Netherlands.
Argentina beat the Netherlands in a highly contested, fiery and just downright mental game of football yesterday evening. Argentina thought that they had won as the game went into stoppage-time, all they had to do was hold on.
But two dramatic goals from substitute Wout Weghorst sent the game into extra time and then penalties. Argentina would go on to win the penalty shootout and intentionally celebrate in front of the despairing Dutch.
There was no love lost between both sides, and Martinez made sure to rub it in their faces with a wild interview after the game.

Clearly, the Aston Villa goalkeeper thought there was some sort of agenda against his side but the Netherlands will also come away feeling like the referee was against them.
After an absolutely bonkers game, Argentina now progresses to the semi-final where they will play Croatia next week.
