The DR Congo women’s team weren’t happy with the referee’s decisions they chased him down and brutally attacked him.
Things got out of hand during a game between DC Motema Pembe and TP Mazembe when the referee failed to award a penalty.
5-1 down and already outraged at the situation, the members of the Motema Pembe team including the manager decided to hunt the referee down as he fleed the pitch.

The referee was cornered and beaten by some of the players with one even trying to pick up a metal bucket to use against him.
Luckily he managed to escape down the tunnel just in time.
