Che Adams is going to be waking up tomorrow with a very sore head as West Ham defender Craig Dawson has mistaken the Southampton players head for a football. You can see Dawson wind up his foot for the shot and the ball bounces the other side of Che’s head leading Craig to make clean contact with Adams.
Adams whether intentional or not put his body on the line here and thanks to him his side managed to not concede in the first half. The sides went into the break completely level with many fans worrying over Che’s safety, they are hoping a proper Head Injury Assessment is done in the locker room and if needs be that he doesn’t play the second half. Player safety needs to be taken more seriously.
